Fajitas

Finally the weather is improving. Spent the day cleaning up in pool hole in the ground and bringing the garbage to the recycling station.

Marinated a flank steak in the morning and put it in the cooled room downstairs for the day.

Wife made a nice salsa and guacamole.

Cut up some onions and red pepper which I fried in the iron pan on the grill. Since the flank steak so thin I reversed seared it. Rubbed the steak with a fajitas seasoning I found online. Tasted good.

The Wiffy's Bunch took us out for an early Mom's Day today and I order the Steak Fajitas but I promise you they weren't even close to those beauties :tup: :salut: :cheers:

I had fajitas a few weeks ago and also having tonight. We are eating out at el Camino again for Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day out there ladies.

Thanks folks. First time I made something with flank steak. Never used it before. I think it tasted good. After what I've read here in the forum I hought it might be chewy but it wasn't. I will use this cut again.

Are you celebrating mother's day now? We did that on the 10th of February.

Officially it is Today the 12th but some take advantage of the preceding Saturday to Celebrate. My Oldest son makes it a point to not only Honor his Mother but he also goes to see his Step-Mom, his late Wife's Mom and his current Wife with her Children as well. A busy weekend for him. :tup:
