Saturday Cook out

Postby GRailsback » Sun May 19, 2019 3:20 pm

Had some cousins come into town from Colorado. So did a little grillin. Forgot to get some photos of the finished stuff, but it was all pretty good stuff. Some appetizers, bakers, and 1 1/4 boneless chops.

A few more, hate it I didn't get the finished chops photos, but they were really good. HWH only on them. The stuffed mushrooms and the sausage and bacon wrapped ABT as well. And a little summer sausage and cheese. And of course some cold beer.

The last stuffed mushroom, creram cheese and pan sausage in them.

Looking good, Greg. Is it mushrooms you have filled? They look good. Can I ask what you've filled them with?

Nice outdoor place, too.

Sure is Joe, These are the ones I mentioned yesterday. Browning some pan sausage and mixing with some cream cheese and placing the mixture into the large mushrooms. They are really good, if you like mushrooms of course. I did not make these this time, I bought them from a small meat market in Tomball TX. It is a wonderful little candy store.

Thank you. I will try that. The other stuff with bacon around is it Abt's with sausage meat around and bacon around that again? That's a meal in itself.

Thanks, I had that patio and bar built back in the spring of 2007. I still use it alot. That gas grill has had a lot of meat ran through it.

Thanks guys, it did turn out good. One of them cousins of mine I hadn't seen since 87. One of them guys was also my brother. Woody, when I built that place in 07 I still smoked, so I spent a lot of time out there. And after I quit smoking i still spend a lot of time out there. That out door bar will last longer than the house, there is not one piece of wood in it.
