Bison, Yam and Salsa Salad

Postby OldUsedParts » Thu May 23, 2019 1:21 pm

After grilling and tasting that Bison (Buffalo) in some Fajitas the other day, I just had to try it as a Steak with some sides. The Sides are as out of the box as the Steak with a loaded Sweet Tater and a Salad using some homemade Salsa.

The Steak was good but I prefer a Beef Tenderloin Filet for the next time. Eating it like this you get more of a wild flavor than the Fajitas but I'm a wild game meat lover anyhow. Kinda reminded me of Sika, Elk or aged Venison and very dark color and it had plenty of juice cooking it 5 min per side directly over Kingsford Charcoal.

Suckle Busters Campfire Steak Seasoning and Zesty Italian Dressing on the Meat, Butter, Marshmellow Cream and Brown Sugah for the Sweet Tater and winding it up with Ranch Dressing, S&P for the Salad.

Looks good. You can keep the orange tater but I’d eat the rest of it!

If I could chew now I'd eat all of it.

Craving salads.

Thanks C.I. - - - I thought of your cast iron searing technique while that was grilling that steak and should have used something similar  :salut:
