Hogwaller Honey Chicken
Fired up the kettle and cooked a little chicken and shishito peppers for dinner.
The chicken was coated in Dukes Mayonnaise and then coated with Sucklebusters Hogwaller Honey. I don’t know that I have used it on chicken before but is awesome.
I’ve been using Jealous Devil Charcoal the last few cooks. I’m really liking everything about it except the price. However, I think I’m getting more cooks per bag than I was with other brands.

Excellent. Mayo on chicken is awesome. My experience is that it makes the chicken so much more juicy. Is it because it locks the moisture in during cooking?

I really think it causes a molecular reaction in the skin which seals in the juices

Thanks y’all. Not sure of the science behind it but it definitely helps the chicken stay juicy. Also has a higher burn point than oil so you can hit it with a little more flame. I started these off directly over the coals and then moved to indirect to finish

"THAT" I knew but not much about Mayo and Cluckers, However, I do know those Chicken and Peppers look awesome and had to taste equally as great.

Re: Hogwaller Honey Chicken
I’ve used Jealous Devil for about 4 years now since I bought a pallet from the owner of JD. I’m down to my last 5 bags now. The chicken looks great.
