Cowboy Bacon Burgers
I saw these 2 patties in HEB the other day and I couldn't resist giving them a try. Of course I'll add all the trimmin's such as ABTs, grilled Own-Yawns, Romane leaves, Monterey Jack, Whataburger Sauce and toasted Buns while I grill in the Texas Sun.

I came out of Navasota TX. yesterday after having a cookout with my son and his family. It was 103 at 3:30.

When I let my Old Cat in to feed him yesterday, he didn't even bother going t the feed. He just laid down on the cool floor under an AC vent. I let him stay and sleep in my Recliner until 8:00 before putting him outside.

Re: Cowboy Bacon Burgers
Well, they grilled up easy enuff but ended up a little dry. There didn't seem to be "any fat content" at all in the patties but the taste was pretty good. Don't think I'll use anything except Grass Fed/Wagyu ground Beef from now on but I don't regret trying the Cowboy Bacon Patties at all.

So the bacon was in the ground beef? How was that? Could you taste it?

Very very little but absolute no Bacon Grease at all - - - - they were good but drier than most "ANY" burger patty

Re: Cowboy Bacon Burgers
Looking at getting most of it done by the end of the week - at least when we can start moving some furniture back in. Still waiting on doors and final trim. This might drag out a bit further. It seems like we've been living in a construction zone forever.
Planning some thighs for this Friday.
