My wife is on her annual friends gathering at the Outer Banks. I stay home for a bachelor vacation.
I kicked things off this evening with a couple of small strip steaks rubbed with SB Espresso and Campfire.
It's gorgeous weather here (82 and low humidity) and I have two large racks of spares going on the smoke in the Assassin tomorrow.
134 days left until retirement and life is good!

Rub it in John!
Enjoy!
Sounds like we’re in a race to retirement. I went back to part time this week. Full retirement will be sometime between November and January.

Re: Piney Bachelor Week Begins!
that is a great looking meal!!
on the retirement, look forward with anticipation, those goal posts are coming straight at ya...
as a recent retiree, almost a year... where just where did the time go? it seems that the "things" I always wanted to do have taken a backseat to those more pressing things that used to get hired out to be done, Why? because I do them right!! Retirement really is good, just remember you always work harder for yourself than you do someone else, or at least I do....

Rambo,
I have 2 racks of spares on the smoke now. Probably pull them in about an hour.
