Different but Delicious

Postby OldUsedParts » Sat Jan 27, 2024 12:45 pm

I usually pick a Center Cut Tenderloin when I'm going to grill a Steak for Lunch HOWEVER, this time I got me a Wagyu, Prime, Grass Fed Ribeye with nice Marbling. Altho it wasn't as thick as I usually get, I have no doubt it will be tasty. I'm gonna do a Twice Baked White Tater and small Garden Salad for the Sides.

The Kingsford Charcoal is getting ready and the Oven is preheating to 350 for the second bake of the Tater and then Lunch should be Served.
This Steaks will have 2 SUCKLEBUSTERS SEASONINGS ON IT

Out of the park, OUP! :D

That plate looks delicious! :salut:

I've never tried Wagyu. Is it that much better than Prime?

I've never seen it on shelves here. Looking online, I needed a stiff drink after seeing the prices.

I'm just wondering if Wagyu is all that and a bag of chips. :D

Here in Texas @ HEB, that 3/4 lb Steak ran me just a little less than $15

I'm just wondering if Wagyu is all that and a bag of chips. :D

I can taste the quality difference between HEB cut and Wagyu cut on most all I have grilled :dont: :salut:

following a great meal like that is maybe a knap? :laughing7:
I agree with you on the wagyu vs prime, on appearance the wagyu seems to have more marbling but the preferred taste by me is for prime as well as the wallet preference
good on the pictures and the prep, I am a fan of "dual seasoning" and have been contemplating a third seasoning on the edge of the meat with something like SPG Hot :dont: :whiteflag:
