Fajita Seasoning?

Postby Gator » Mon Sep 29, 2008 10:21 am

Just wondering what everyone uses for seasoning fajitas? :?:

I use a 50/50 mix of Italian Dressing + Teriyaki Sauce (or Soy Sauce) for the meat and a EVOO + Lemon (or Lime) for the veggies and cook separately. 8)

2 parts Olive oil, 2 parts Lime juice, 1 part hot chili oil (szwechwan works) a pinch of crushed red pepper and a bunch of crushed garlic cloves.

Best I ever ate was marinated overnight in a 50/50 mix of water and Kikomann Soy Sauce. Veggies too. Got the full recipe including the dry ingredients if any wants it and it aint already been posted. They was constructed by a fella named Joe Tapia..aka..bbqlover. He was raised up on the King Ranch. Started making Fajitas back when he was still squirting mustard in his pampers.

Put me down for a copy of that recipe BW - Best prime rib I ever ate came from a King Ranch cook.
