Looks like Limey might be up to run on. I've been too busy with class to do much of anything lately.

Going to do one for Easter, I'm thinking we are going to the fowl side, anything with wings. Chicken, Turkey, Duck, Pheasant, Quail, Cornish Hen, use your imagination.I will work out the details and post it up this weekend. Thinking key word is Texas Chick on a business card if anyone wants to cook this weekend for the final four. We need lots of entries guys to make this a great throwdown.
How bout some more beans Mr.Taggert? I'd say you've had enough!

Not much room for imagination, when the store only has chicken and turkey, maybe a Cornish hen. Just my two cents, Kick out everything that is cooked at every comp. ( example no spatchcock chicken, ribs, brisket) Whole birds right on, legs, wings etc. ok, Ham and other meats. Lets make it a horse race not just a cock fight!!!!! Again just my two cents.

Going with the bird, think a turkey falls into the category. Ham has already won one, hard to top TexToby's ham pic. Trying to get away from regular BBQ meats, brisket and ribs so I decided on fowl. All kinds of stuffed chicken recipes, wings, whole, half, or by the piece.I think it will be more of a level playing field on this one.

Tis' a far, far fowler thing than I have ever done before. Faintly Hitchcockian, even.
