Kind of losing the mystic of who is cooking what when you post precooked entries and talk about what you are cooking on the throwdown thread. Just saying gents

Certainly nothing wrong with knowing. I'm sure that the talent of these members will still surprise, entertain and be the envy of some of us.
I probably started this when trying to generate as much interest and participation as I could. The members that volunteer to set these up, receive and post entry pics plus monitor it all have all my respect and appreciation. Especially during the Holidays with Family and all that is going on.

I think they called that "Payola" back in Alan Freed's day but I just call it BRIBERY

I think that Gif needs a rating of *explicit* - not safe for work - warning.

I agree with Chuck. I would prefer not to know who is entering and what's cooking. But not worry - my knickers are not in a knot.
I tossed in a few prizes to try to get the participation up. I was a little disappointed in last throw down turnout and the fact that folks didn't take ownership of their cooks - there were some real nice ones. I'm sitting this one out but hope the turnout is mo betta. Good luck and it's okay to let folks know what you entered after.

Re: Turkey Day Throwdown!
Sorry EH I just realized I didn't go back and claim my cook on the last TD. It was the big hunk O' pork picnic with the candy bowls in the background. Complete slip on my part. I agree it is fun to know who cooked what after the fact.
Is there anyway that could automatically be made part of the final results reveal?
