Personally, I'd like to see credits for all shots submitted. Any particulars offered up as to technique used would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Oops - didn't get to the next page. Thanks TX1911 for posting the participants.

You are correct. Bourbon and butter pecan cured bacon (see attached cooked later over pecan) and 10 hour pulled pork shoulder.
But I got smoked by the Master and the Tejano, sure nuff and hats off.

Great throwdown!
Wish I could have done better, but it was a good deal of fun.
Too soon to throw together a Christmas throwdown?
Or do we have to wait for Valentine's Day? (Brisket is for lovers?)

Re: Turkey Day Throwdown Winner!!!
A quick update and some overdue "THANKS".... Lots of generosity by folks on this forum and I wanted to share.
Egghead's package arrived and inside was the handmade trivet he talked about. Great looking in addition to being very functional. What's not shown are homemade goodies that came along with it. Pickled Green Tomatoes, Sweet Pickled Jalapenos, and Smoked HOT Sauce (emphasis on hot) to be enjoyed this holiday season.
TX1911 tossed in an RTIC tumbler - I've heard these things work but had no idea how well. Fantastic way to sip a little refreshment while tending to the fire. Also, a couple of the absolute best soft-sided koozies I've ever used were tucked in the box.
Gator (aka: SuckleBusters) also sent (unbeknownst to me) a heckava sample pack of rubs and sauce. I'm thrilled to say samples of smoked pork tenderloin were submitted to a "customer" and they chose Texas Pecan Rub over another rub exclusively for all ten pork tenderloins ordered for the holidays. Great timing for that. Seriously considering a Christmas brisket with the SPG in a week or so.
Again - many thanks to all who contributed to the ThrowDown bounty.
