Might be a dumb question BUT so there won't be any problems later :?: Does Charcoal/Wood/Gas also include "wood pellets" :?:

I know I am the newbie of the bunch that's voting, but why limit it at all? Different regions lend to a better selection of types of food available ie: the coast has better sea food, while up around me the beef is better and more options available. I will certainly go along with what the group decides. I guess when you get right down to it, this is a "purdy" test rather than a taster.

by Labor Day I will be living up in the Seattle / Tacoma area, and I'm looking forward to visiting the fish market. so my vote is for aquatic edibles.

Outlaw - The idea of the throwdowns is that it's a visual competition a la the Food Network and Bobby Flay. They get a category and see what they can do with it, and creativity matters. Additionally, in our case, for the voting, the idea is for it to be anonymous, so regional fare could (and in some cases would) giveaway identities and increase the chance of a vote for a person rather than a post for the food.

EH - Great idea, but I was thinking about a Super Bowl TD that incorporated Apps. Just didn't want to show how lame I was by thinking that far out.
