Sounds like a good time -
A couple of observations I would share with some of our newer members...style counts for a lot in this contest. I would consider this similar to a peoples choice award; how you take the picture (framing, focus, distance, lighting...ect) is just as important as the subject itself. Most winners have a well framed picture, IE the food takes up most of the picture and is IN FOCUS.
Good luck to all and thanks to the deputies for sponsoring the contest.

No, they are not to be marked in any way that someone could recognize whose pic it is.
A pic that shows some-ones pit, your car, house, would be considered marking too.

Re: ANNOUNCING The Texas BBQ Forum 4th Of July 2009 THROWDOWN
We understand that many of you might be out of town or might have a few too many pops during this festive time that is why we are allowing extra time to submit photo's. Please note that the 4th is on a Saturday this year and the deadline for entry is Tuesday 8pm Central Time. We all love throwdowns and we want as many members as possible to participate in them thus the extra time given. The more participants means more Throwdowns in the future

If you bacon wrap a chicken breast in bacon, it would go in Things with Wings or Anything goes.
Same if you wrap a pork loin with bacon it would go in Big Hunks of meat or Anything goes, depending on what else you may be entering..
The chicken or loin would be the main ingredient. But you couldn't have chicken and bacon as separate items in the pic, if you did it would go into Anything Goes.
