Upcoming cook offs

Postby Randy D » Mon Feb 25, 2019 9:40 am

I am new to the site, was wondering if there is a list of cook offs that are upcoming.

I usually cook in Metro Go Texan events for HLSR--raise money for scholarships, I will post them when I know the for sure dates.

Thanks in Advance!

Check IBCA , KCBS, and Lonestar BBQ Society websites. They are the most up to date on cookoff events.
How bout some more beans Mr.Taggert? I'd say you've had enough!

The Langham Creek FFA, in NW Houston is throwing its first bbq cookoff. March 22-23rd. They can be reached at langhamcreekffabbq@gmail.com or face book at loboffabbq. It’s non- sanctioned and will be a Friday night dance. It’s to benifit their scholar ship fund after the Harvey flood.

I wish they would have gotten a hold of me sooner. I would have loved to sanction this one. Hopefully next year will work.

We’re realizing that sanctioning is exactly what we should have done!? Shoulda, coulda, woulda!? We were nervous about available space for a sanctioned event? We’re determined to continue this thing (we have to) so we’ll be in touch!

KAM, I wish you could talk my sister in law into sanctioning this cookoff.

I’m doing a non sanctioned one in a few weeks. Here’s the Facebook page for it.
