Turn n' burn Western wood #3

Postby NPayne1 » Tue Mar 04, 2014 9:01 pm

Anyone going? It's a sold out event with 150 teams and a big big big payout. We will be there and bringing some new recipes that have tested nicely. Hope to walk again, but it's anybody's game.

Good Lord willing, we will be there in space A-03. Looking forward to it. We didn't cook the 2nd one and I was sick the entire time during the 1st one. I think this will be lots of fun.

The results for both the turn n burn and for the W3 series are posted on western wood's website. It was a great wknd, lots of good Q was made, ate, and wrapped in foil for leftovers. I was able to meat a few ppl, one of who was Bourbon Cowboy, a nice guy with a nice family. I believe they had a top 10 walk in chicken, so congrats BC! As for myself and the Dirtroad Smokers, we mustered up an 11th place chicken, enough points to put us in 4th overall in the series for chicken. So we are tickled pink!
