We had a fun time at the country music festival. Had a great spot under some trees and had a pretty good showing at this Cookoff. We ended up placing:
2nd chefs choice
Nothing in pinto beans
2nd chicken
5th ribs
1st brisket
Tied for the grand champion and chicken was the tie breaker. The other team placed
6th pinto beans
1st chicken
1st ribs
Nothing in brisket.
Pinto beans were a part of the core categeories of this Cookoff.
If it weren't for them darn pinto beans, we woulda tore that butt up! That's 2 cookoffs in a row that my beans haven't hit, oh well back to the drawing board on pintos.
