End of the BBQ Season & IBCA Meetin

Postby Lynn » Mon Nov 26, 2007 3:16 pm

The end of the competition BBQ season will be over this week-end with an event at Angleton TX - Christmas on the Square. I have been told that this is a fun event with a lot to do.

Wed. Dec 5, 2007 7p.m. at North Main BBQ is the next IBCA meeting.
At this meeting we will be presenting Kash For Kids the money raised at Traders Village plus we ask those attending to bring diapers, baby items, non-perishable food, toiletries, etc for the Rainbow Room which is a emergency supply for abused children and families.

Anyone wishing to attend feel free to do so.

Happy Holidays to everyone and Good Luck on the Smokin' trail of 2008.

Angleton was a very nice event. Lucky me, I hung out all afternoon with Gordo, who turned out to be the grand champion. I was on his quality control team :D YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was all very festive. A lot of the competitors put up some serious Christmas decorations. I might have to try my hand at it next year.

Glad you enjoyed the event. We have never done this particular event but I have heard nothing but good things about it. The only negative thing that I have ever heard is the fact that there isn't any prize money.

Hope to see you at other IBCA events.
