We'll be out trying to match our Gentile skills in with the Hebrew faithful at the Dallas Kosher Championship on Sunday afternoon at Sunnyland Furniture in Richardson at Coit @ Spring Valley, ya'll come out and say Howdy and L'Chaim if you can. Jody Dean from KLUV and Richard Chamberlain from Chamberlain's Chop House are going to be among the judges, and they're planning some kind of celebrity judged Mystery Meat competition that I have no earthly idea how we're gonna deal with. Couple teams coming in from Flushing and Brooklyn NEW YORK as well as a smokin Rabbi from Overland Park Kansas too; Got the feeling this cook is gonna get Western.

Brisket, beef ribs, a whole turkey, and chicken thighs PLUS Mystery Meat on a Smoky Mountain and a little pot belly Weber. Boots is sure gonna have his hands full, as Yoda is down by one (broke his wrist fallin off some hoverboard thing). Ya'll come yell for the hometown boys.

I signed up to judge that, but apparently they like to use 'celebrity' judges. Their circus, their monkey.

Hear you, they had several sign up later I think. Will post some pictures. After making the cooks meeting last night, I can see we'll be stepping a ways out of our comfort zone on this one.
