SuckleBusters for the WIN!

Postby TwoGuysBBQ » Sat Feb 09, 2019 10:09 am

I posted a couple days ago on my brisket about doing a rub comparison.

After serving yesterday in two different pans, we did a blind taste test. We had a little over 30 people eat and vote. The Brisket with SuckleBusters 1820 was the clear winner. I was told it had a heavier pepper and bolder flavor. Afterward I put both bottles on the table to let everyone see what the winner was. After lunch someone took my bottle of 1820!

The last one I did i used the 1836 as the base, then a light dusting of SPG. It was a nice brisket.

Yes 1836 not 1820 :banghead:
I did the opposite, went with. SPG as the base and 1836 on top
