I just found out that Brinkman makes a meatloaf basket for BBQing. Helps to hold the shape, while allowing smoke to the meat.

You're welcome ChiliFarmer.

Okie- I've never had any trouble with mine falling apart. I have always let it sit in the fridge for at least a couple of hours in a pan not just too help it take shape but to let the ingredients meld together. I've also always cooked em' on a sheet of foil. Adding another egg would also help if it did break apart. BUT- I do have my share of gadgets...

You need binders Okie 1 egg per pound and breadcrumbs, I press mine into a plastic wrap lined loaf pan to shape &chill while the pit gets hot then turn it out on to a piece of foil to cook. I never had to use a spoon to eat it yet. :texas:

Try adding some sage and thyme or some Worcestershire sauce for a more flavorful dish
even you can find that recipe here https://www.globalwebpage.com/campfire-meatloaf-recipe
