What are these beef roasts I have been hearing about. What cut is it, what rub do you use or marinade, and how do you cook it. Thanks

I won a nice piece of roast beef at the pub recently, pic supplied. We normally cook ours in the oven and serve with roast vegetables. And nice thick gravy. This piece I've just cooked as my wife's away in Australia , I just slice the meat off and make a hot sammy. Bread meat, onion, cheese and relish. These are seriously good sammys.

Wow Russ, that's beautiful. I bet it tastes better than it looks. Did you do that one in the oven? Can't wait to try something like it
I hope your wife has sage travels.

Justin, we also serve Yorkshire puds with roast beef, if you haven't tried a pud you will never know the taste. It's traditionally English meal. Just beautiful.
