Rolled into my favorite Italian grocery in Dallas (Jimmy's) so I could roll out with materials to make some Rollups, which got me Rollin' into the weekend...
Wafer thin sliced sirloin, seasoned up with Kosher salt, mixed Italian seasonings, and cracked black pepper. Then layered with finely chopped fresh basil, fresh buffala mozzarella, oregano, fine chopped purple onion, chopped crimini mushrooms, and some seared mild Italian grated sausage. Then carefully rolled up into an Italian meat taquito, and seared and roasted on the grill until about 150-160 internal. Then serve under, around, or on top of some really good Marinara.
