Smoked Meat Loaf

2 1/2 pounds Ground beef

1 cup Bread crumbs
3 Eggs
1/3 cup Half and half cream
1/3 cup Onion - diced small
2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves Garlic - crushed
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
1/4 tsp Ground Sage

1 Mix all ingredient together
2 Spread in an ungreased loaf pan
3 Cook uncovered in a 350* oven til done. Around 1 1/2 hours

Servings: 12

Cooking Tips

I use this recipe mainly for smoked meat loaf, plain or stuffed.

When smoking meatloaf, I put a good BBQ rub on the outside of the meat loaf.
Then for an added flavor you can either place a few slices or completely cover the meat loaf with bacon. It adds a great taste.
Smoke at 225* til an internal temp. of 160* is reached.

I usually make a mushroom sauce when I do this in the oven.
