Easy and effective plum ribs

Postby Nightram » Sun Jul 21, 2019 3:29 am

I used to work in an italian restaraunt when i was 18. The pay was bad, but the ribs was what i walked away with.

Not so much a huge writeup, almost a 3 ingredients meal. Unfortunatly i think it is specific to Australia as one of the ingredients are a local thing.

- SPC plum sauce
- italian herb mix
- garlic.

All you need to do it the typical smoke, wrap baste and serve. Simples!

I'm on board with this Nightram and it's not as uncommon as you think. I've never had a Plum Sauce but I've made some Apricot and Strawberry Sauce with Garlic and Rosemary/Thyme and they were really good. Good to see this type of variation, I bet they were great !

Plum is a pretty common flavour here in au, stems from chinese cooking i think. Like bbq plum pork.

Most ribs you get in a shop come in bbq or plum.

We do a fig jam/balsamic/thyme/garlic sauce that's also good with pork.

Howdy neighbour, I make my own plum sauce. Yours look good.
