6 chicken breasts medium size
6 bacon slices
1 tsp. vinegar
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic granular
1 c. cooking sherry*
pepper
Crush garlic with vinegar-cinnamon n clove to make mixture.
Wash chicken breasts- dry them - rub them with vinegar-
spice mixture. Wrap bacon around chicken breasts
secure with a toothpick.
Place breasts in casserole dish- add vinegar-onion-garlic granular sherry* n pepper.
Bake medium heat 15 minutes. Turn breasts over - cook
until tender- bathing them from time to time in sauce.
Notes~ Cognac in place of sherry is good with this recipe.
Sometimes-I like to throw in very thin slices of mushrooms when adding the cognac just to make it different tasting at times.
