I love calamari ñ recently went to a restaurant
They offered it two ways~
1- was lightly breaded but cut in French -fry style (not circles ñ served with marinara sauce ñ lemon.
always delicious.
But this time they offered it Mediterranean style!
2nd - was Cut ñ breaded-fried calamari cut the same - ñ lots of calamari-with drained artichokes- kalamata or Greek olives ñ crumbled feta cheese with hot caper butter sauce..
Was sooooooooooooo delicious ...
The caper butter is only made with butter -wine or water with lemon juice (fresh ñ - of course the caper butter was heated ñ beat it to be more liquefied ñ little frothy- can add some crushed red pepper flakes or use with fresh lime juice to dip all in. Calamari was not over cooked nor rubbery..
Note~ U could add choped parsley or cilantro leaves if U wanted...
Wish had a picture to share with U all Mouth watering..
