BBQ Mike's Shrimp Creole
This is for a small crockpot
(double recipe for large crock pot)
1 1/2 CUPS CHOPPED ONIONS

1/4 TEASPOON PEPPER

3/4 CUP CHOPPED CELERY

1 TEASPOON PAPRIKA

1 CLOVE GARLIC, MINCED

1 BAY LEAF

3/4 CUP DICED GREEN PEPPER

6 DROPS TABASCO

1 28 OZ. CAN WHOLE TOMATOES

2 8 OZ. CANS TOMATOE SAUCE

1 TEASPOON SALT

1 TEASPOON SUGAR

1 POUND CLEANED AND DEVAINED SHRIMP

Combine all ingredients except shrimp in crock pot and stir to blend
well. Cover and cook on low 7-9 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
During last hour, turn crock pot to high, and add shrimp. Cook one
hour or untill shrimp turn pink.
Serve over rice.
I use a crockpot liner for easy of clean up.
Goes good with saltines, or oyster crackers also.
Mike
