Shrimp & Dill Dip Recipe

Postby Finatic » Tue Feb 09, 2016 7:10 pm

Made this recipe for the Super Bowl. Everyone at the party gave it a big thumbs up. I'll be making this again.

Hot Shrimp & Dill Dip
1 pound shrimp- cooked, peeled and finely chopped
1- 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup Swiss cheese
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dill weed
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1-2 teaspoon seasoned salt

Preheat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients until well blended. Spread in 8-9 inch pie plate. Bake for 20 minutes. Garnish with green onions.
Serve with crackers or chips.

I forgot to mention I did add 1-1/2 teaspoons of Adobo seasoning to this recipe along with about a teaspoon of a salt, pepper & garlic blend. I think next time I'm going to saute the shrimp before I add them to the rest of the mixture.
