My Dad's stud horse was a 16-2 sorrel with a blanket and four complete stockings, probably about 1200 pounds, with Top Deck / Native Dancer / Nasrullah in the bloodline. Don't see too many Apps that look like Secretariat in a snowstorm. As a baby, when it was hot, he would methodically climb, one leg at a time, all the way into a steel horse trough and splash around fer hours playing around and staying cool. Then he would methodically climb out, one leg at a time, like no big deal, never once panicked or fell. During a wash he would grab the end of the hose in his teeth and just stand there and suck the water out. Clever lad.

Nice story.
My friend who passed away 3 years ago, he trained for me til he got sick.he told me his dad used to have a horse that would play with a stick, throw it up and catch it. I never doubted him the story. You hear of them unbolt ing stable doors as well.
