Kentucky Fried Chicken - Coleslaw Copycat Recipe
KFC Secret Recipe Copycat
Ingredients Required
8 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup shredded carrot
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 tablespoon white vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
Combine cabbage and carrots in a large salad bowl.
Mix remaining ingredients together and mix well in separate bowl.
Pour liquid ingredients over cabbage and carrots and stir.
Although overnight is better, refrigerate at least two hours before serving.

Thanks Jeff,
I did a BBQ cook over labor day weekend for my grandson's birthday party; the slaw was a big hit with everyone. Only thing I did different was utilize 1/2 cup buttermilk instead of 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup buttermilk. This is now my slaw of choice; thanks again.

I had tired this before it is excellent, thanks for sharing.
I did use the call for 1/4 C buttermilk but I added 1/4 tsp of celery seeds (not celery salt) that kicks it up a notch and gives it the Boom!!!

ok, to answer my own question: 3 cups = .5 lb. (firmly packed)
8 c = 1.33 lbs or about 1 lb loosely packed
