My wife loves this wee snack when all our herbs are ripe in our garden. I'm not a fan of feta but my wife is so I add it for her.
Any thoughts from you guys or you just don't make it.

thanks, Sooner, Hmmmmmmm??? I'm not much on sammies without meat or Italian cuisine either SORRY Tasso :whiteflag: so I think I'll pass - - - - I've been between the Sabine and the Rio Grande too long I guess :dont:

Mine is simple garlic diced fine tomatoes, take out the pip stuff, basil chilled red onion diced fine, oil, s and p. feta if you like it. Spread on toasted bread. Belisimo.

It's like Texas toast without the Texas. ;)

We once saw a TV program where the host visited a family in Italy. They had some sort of gigantic indoor hearth with a small wood fire and a metal grate for toasting the bread slices on it. I immediately wanted to do the same thing.
