So oup and I touched on pork crackling earlier today, I've been making it for years and refined it. I just buy the skin from my local butcher and cut off as much fat as possible. The pieces I got today wherever.77cents. I slice it in 1/2 " strips and cut into 1 1/2" pieces.Salted and Put on a grated tray and bake at max until I get the end result. The end I switch to grill only and I watch like a hawk because it can burn easily.
Pics to follow.

Pork fat taken off.

Best results are with a beer. That I guarantee. Lol, next time I'm gunna dust a bit of pork tickler on it and see what the guys think. I made about 60 to 70 wee morsels and it was gone in 15 mins. I've actually been told I need todo this and sell it in pubs.

Dude. A message just popped up on my phone saying pork cracklin. I love these. Yours look different from mine. Is this only the skin or just a really thin pork belly?

Skin only, as in first pic almost transparent. A bit of fat won't hurt but I grill under the grill with slotted tray under to let and fat drip.
