Hot 'N Spicy Green Tomato Soup

Postby Allie » Mon Oct 27, 2008 9:59 am

I made this soup from Emeril Lagasse on Saturday. Les and Zach wouldn't touch it but Ash and I loved it! I just wish I'd canned some green tomatoes as this would be awesome on a cold, blustery winter day. I couldn't get Anaheim or pasilla chilies so used some banana peppers and a poblano. I also used bacon since I forgot to buy pancetta. It had just enough heat to be warming but not so much to overwhelm the other flavors.

Link doesn't work for me :?

It sounds like something I would like to see...I did a search at the site and came up with nothing.

Has anyone else notice that the changes they have made to the food network site are for the worse? It always seems so slow and hard to find anything lately.

Thanks for fixing the link. I have a really hard time making a clickable link here for some reason. Guess it's just a different format from what I'm accustomed to using.

I hope you enjoy it! My daughter is really wishing we had more green tomatoes. lol

Sounds pretty good - a little tweaking for personal likes and it's off to the races!
