Popcorn O'lay

8 c. popped popcorn
1 c. crumbled tortilla or corn chips
3 T. butter or margarine
2 tsps. taco seasoning mix or to taste
1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese (optional

Combine popcorn with chips -use large bowl.
Melt butter over low heat in small pan. Stir in taco mix - remove fromYou heat. Dribble over popcorn. Toss with hands to coat thoroughly.
Serve immediately or continue for a cheesy treat.
Spread popcorn mixture on greased baking sheet - sprinkle with cheese.
Place under broiler until cheese melts- about 1 minute.
Check constantly to ensure popcorn is not burning.
Remove - cool before serving
