Quite time consuming due to the temps involved, but I can tell you I got top marks from everybody that had it. I'm not big on desserts but I'm told I have to do these again. The caramel sauce was so simple it's not funny. That got great raves as well.

Highly recommend as a treat for family and friends.

One of life's greatest delicacies made even better by dropping it into a pot of hot oil, and then drizzling hot dulce de leche over it. You can't beat that over the head with a stick. I'm calling the mortuary, sign me up for my plot right now, because it ain't gettin no better.
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE

Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Mmmmm, that sounds Devine, I was always told by my mum not to eat ice cream before bed because it gave you nightmares, perhaps she was saving on the ice cream, you guys are sure spoilt.

At first, I thought it looks like a Silvana dessert.
Looking forward to more camping trip with my family. I need a new tonneau cover to secure my equipment and pit.

Had some at a ice cream shop in Deer Park TX one New Years Eve, years ago, because we had little kids back then. The crust was a combination of crushed cornflakes, brown sugar and some cinnamon. Lucious.

I've heard of cornflakes too, they would work.

Ive never used corn flakes, but for what its worth I worked at a Japanese restaurant several years ago and we served fried green tea ice cream as a desert. We would thin slice pound cake and wrap it aroumd the ice cream, then roll in tempura batter and fry, served with a little strawberry sorbet, whip cream, cherries and caramel drizzle, they sold like hotcakes.

Hmmm, I know that would work. My daughter cooks Japanese for us sometimes. She spent time there.
