Stuffed Mushrooms
I got some really nice looking mushrooms at the store on Saturday. They are like really big button mushrooms, nothing expensive or fancy. lol I would like to stuff them if someone can give me some tips! I don't have any cream cheese but do have sharp cheddar, mozarella, and provolone, as well as some good parmesan. I also have bread crumbs and lots of other pantry staples. TIA!

I would just experiment Allie. Try some cooked sausage or hamburger, even cut up chix and make some with different cheeses. Toss the bread crumbs with some parmesan, etc. Use some garlic, thyme, parsley, sage would be good too. Just throwing out some ideas. Drizzle with EVOO before baking or broiling. Yum!!!

Allie wrote:I made them tonight. I just mixed bread crumbs, melted butter, fresh parsley and chives out of my garden and fresh grated parmesan. They were good but the mix was a little dry. I'll continue to play around with it when I get the chance. I still want to try Jim's recipe soon!
Allie, do the same thing again but wrap in bacon then run em under the broiler. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
