What is the best way to cook pork ribs on a gasser? Just got my new Genesis and want to cook some ribs this weekend. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I will defer to others with more experience but I did them a couple of times by turning the burners low and putting them on the upper rack and I even propped the lid open to try to keep the temps down but the cheapo gasser I have wouldn't stay below 400 degrees all the way on low with one burner off. I am sure the Weber will do a lot better job than the one I had and probably won't require such nonsense. Good luck!!

Depending upon how much room you have on the grate surface and how low you can keep your indirect heat will vary in your outcome.
Before I went to lump, I've done a few racks on our cheap gas grill I scooped up on Craigslist for 0 bucks :)
Great deal for us since a week before ours went to the scrap yard.

Anyways, we got the one side up to medium temp, and put the ribs on the unlit side in a foiled pan and cooked indirect for about 3 hrs. Took them out and put them back in the same side without the foil for about another hour.
Then the last 30 minutes moved them to the lit side and sauces them.

All I can say is this worked for me, hopefully you have success in the road you choose. It may take some trial and error so don't get frustrated, it CAN be done successfully using gas.

Good luck
