Kale Kook'n ???

The only time I ever buy and use Kale is when I make Zuppa Tuscana Soup but there's always a lot of Kale left from the average bunch. Most of the time I've just been vacuum sealing the leftovers and using later ?if? I happen to do ZT Soup again which may or may not happen.

I've seen recipes of sauteed Kale but I'm wondering if any of you "Good Old Boys" have come across a different way of cooking them :?: :dont:

since i got the 10qt pressure cooker i've been cooking all the greens over the steamer base in the pressure cooker
Kale is 3~5'mins; Mustard & Turnip greens are 10'mins, and collards are 15~20'mins
i just season them with Mrs.Dash and a little garlic powder

here's a time chart for pressure cookers

OUP
years ago i bought a cheap 12qt blue enamel tamale pot at Fiesta for my first homebrew cook pot
i passed on the pot to another homebrew beginner years ago, but i kept the steamer base from it and put it in my newer stainless 12qt pot.
but.. my stainless butterfly steamer base works even better

I wonder why a metal strainer full of Kale over a pot of boiling water wouldn't work? :dont:

I WARN YOU! that is an incredibly DANGEROUS toy store for those of us who cook.
go on their website and sign on.
we get a 20% off a single item coupon in the mail every month
i never go down there (1 mile from my house. the Meyerland store) without this month's coupon

Wife grew kale last year, couldn't give it away. Not replanted this year.

after getting my new pressure cooker and cooking all the greens
i've decided that i like collards & spinach best
collards in the pressure cooker
but spinach in just a simple steamer, they don't last more than 1'min in a pressure cooker

If I end up steaming/cooking the remaining batch of this bunch it will be the first time I've ever eaten it in anything but Zuppa Tuscana Soup. Collards are my go to greens now and forever.
