Looking for Pork butt with Cream of mushroom soup recipe
I was a drag race in October and a guy had a pork butt on the smoker in a pan with cream of mushroom soup.. After 8-10 beers we had it for a late night snack and man was it good.. I can't get a hold of him to find out his recipe.. Has anyone ever done this??

Here's one for a Crock Pot but I would think that you could certainly adapt it to any Cooking Style
Directions
Season pork roast liberally on all sides with seasoning salt, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Allow the roast to sit for 15-30 minutes so that seasonings and meat get to know each other better.
Stir together 1 can of Golden Mushroom soup and cream of mushroom soup and pour into crock pot.
Place seasoned pork roast into crock pot atop soup mixture.
Pour second can of golden mushroom soup over pork roast.
Cover the pork roast with the sliced/halved mushrooms.
Pour can of beef consommé over mushrooms.
Season mushrooms to taste with salt and black pepper.
Cook on low setting for about 8 hours.
Remove roast from crock pot (it will be very tender).
Use the juices in the crock pot as gravy for the pork roast and mashed potatoes.

Infusing your dish with magic truffles/mushroom will certainly give you a different kind of satisfaction. But not everyone can be that adventurous and has guts to experiment specially when it comes on something they eat. I came across this article about a very common dish infuse with mushroom https://www.trufflemagic.com/blog/magic ... o-recipes/

We had a guy on our deer lease that used to do that in a big aluminum pan and cream of celery soup. he tent it with foil and leave it in the oven; mighty fine
