Good morning, I hope this post finds everything well with you.
I'm an Oklahoma guy who has lived in Atlanta for the past 20 years and I am, increasingly, becoming nostalgic for my days in the southwest.
I would greatly appreciate any help that someone could provide with two sauce recipes. First, I used to travel to Gainesville, TX and eat bbq that had a heated sauce. Does anyone have a good recipe for the kind of sauce that one might find in that area.
Next, the is a restaurant in OKC called Leo's and Leo's sauce has a very unique flavor. Does anyone have a sauce recipe that approximates the Leo's sauce or, if not, know the specific spice that gives it a unique flavor?
Thanks for you help. I have enjoyed this forum for a long time and this is my first question on the boards.
