Possible new packaging
Working on packaging ideas for the Honey BBQ Glaze...we have a lot of breakage with the glass. A possibility with plastic is a more controlled spout (red flip top lid with hole in the middle). Yeah or Naw?

I like the plastic. Glass is a pain. I've got the monster plastic jug of honey & chipotle sauces you guys sell. They taste great to me.

Hmmm.. this is a hard one.. I like the class its a nicer look but I completely understand the plastic options. the plastic bottles in the photo are very unique with the ridges at the top so I like that. Another plus with plastic is the weight.

Breakage/shrinkage equals more cost to the end users(me). I have no problem with the plastic.

Re: Possible new packaging
Those are great bottles I get honey in a similar bottle and I have a 1/2 dzn that I re-purposed for sauces.
Never met a cow I didn't like with a little salt and pepper.

Re: Possible new packaging
My very first order was glass, 3 of the 4 bottles were broke. Plastic works fine or get rid of the ghost farts and go all bubble wrap. A company I buy from out of NY, product only comes in glass , they double box and use bubble wrap only, never a broken jar yet.

^^^ Definitely! That flip-top is a great idea for a glaze. While I do like most of my stuff in glass, I'd give it up for an easier pour any day.

Re: Possible new packaging
On a store shelf side-by-side, I would be drawn to the glass bottle. That said, when I get home I transfer to a plastic squeeze bottle for ease of use. Not sure why I'm drawn to glass, but I am. I think maybe the plastic cheapens the look. I would much rather receive my shipment in one piece though, so I say go for the plastic!
