Sucklebusters Pepper Sauces - Observations Out Of The Box

Postby SteerCrazy » Mon Feb 25, 2008 2:09 pm

Well my Sucklebusters pepper sauces (all flavors) arrived in the mail today (thanks Gator!) and WOW!

This is not your fathers red pepper sauce. The color is darker but what catches my eye is the visible spices.

Out of the bottle I tried the Cajun pepper and I say another WOW. Not overly vinegary which I find with many hot sauces and do not like. Nice pepper kick that lingers but is not unpleasant.

This stuff is outstanding and definately would be put on anything. I'd even put it on my salad, NO JOKE!

You got a winner here Gator, I hope this does well for you cause I'll be drinkin this stuff like water!

yes, I was happy they arrived quickly.

Well I have tried the others, except the mustard chipotle (not a mustard fan but the wife is, got it for her)

Ok, here are the other flavors

Original Pepper Sauce
nice cayenne spice, not overly tangy, good initial heat, nice!

Chipotle Pepper
excellent smoky chipotle taste with a slight sweet/tangy taste

Habanero Pepper
similiar in smoky to the chipotle but the heat of hab. The heat is not over whelming but does linger.

Cajun Pepper
nice up front heat, great herby taste, says it has thyme and bay, you can taste it.

Chipotle and Mustard
for the wife

Well after trying them I would say they are ALL awesome. I'm a habanero guy so I like the Habanero pepper the best. These really are outstanding and would suggest to anyone who like pepper sauce to check these out. different and unique

Yeah, I know it's available on-line, but we are in Grapevine all the time...

Hey Mike, something is up - your shipment should have arrived already. I will check my PO Box tonight to see if there was a problem with it. Both the other packages I shipped along with your have already arrived. :x

If we cant locate the lost package by tomorrow, I will reship you another one. No worries. 8)

Same problem here. I mean it is quite a ways to Coppell I can't spit that far.... well unless I have a bit of a northeast wind. I do regularly get expired coupons in the mail though, I wonder if it could possibly be the mail service?

I know that our mail service sucks here. I get mail for the right house number, but for streets as far away as about 3/4 of a mile. Makes me wonder who all has gotten my mail...

Well mailman has finally been to my house :D

On a conf call, but I like what I am seeing right now....will report results later.

Also Gator, glad to see Sea Salt in the Gold Dust, that was the recommendation vs regular salt for us to use.

Happy day, except too bad I won't be eating at home tonight to try it. :?
Looking forward to it.

Tried a little of the sauces today for lunch.

Finger test on the original, and like SC states above, nice initial heat and taste.

The chipotle mustard I put on a sandwich to try it, nice smokey flavor with a hint of mustard.

The Habenaro, I put a spoonfl n a small bowl of chili. Agree teh heat is not overpowering. I could feel it all the way down, and left a lingering heat in the back of the throat.

They all left me wanting more, and I will look forward to some with a turkey this weekend.
