Just keep punching the nurse call button and tell 'em you're gonna reenact the campfire scene from Blazing Saddles unless they start puttin some steer back in yer chili...just like Ol Slim Pickens!!!!

Now you get well and get on home, that's an order.

Pardon my chili ignorance, but texas chili is not supposed to have beans in it? I love the flavors of chili, but hate beans more than AIDS.

I'm about to be a texas resident and I hate beans! I do like peanuts and coffee which technically come from beans, but other than that, I despise them!

If chili wasn't the state dish I believe it would be Pinto beans. We Texans like our beans just not in the chili. Pintos where a staple growing up and still are in my house today. Since you promise not to soil the chili I reckon we will give you a pass  :joker:

No beans in chili. But, sample some of the beans in the jackpot events that often accompany barbecue in the cookoffs around the state, and you may learn you can actually like 'em.

We use beans if its a meal, no beans if its a topping.

Bean ratio is low and pinto only not kidney or red beans.

The crap they serve in Cincinnati is ground beef stew, not chili.
