Smokd Pulled Butt Chili

With the cool temps coming this weekend, decided to whip some up an let sit till Sunday ball games.
Never used the pulled butt before :dont: . Will sure do it again though :shock: !

2 lbs chili meat
1 ring Chapel Hill smoked (diced 1/4")
1 lbs pulled pork butt (diced 1/4")
15 oz Rotel with diced
30 oz Ranch style beans ( I like beans :box: ) sorry guys.
15 oz tomato sauce
8 oz tomato paste
1/2 red bell
1/2 yellow bell
1/2 green bell
1/2 white onion
1 Serrano
1 jalapeno
1 chicken cube
1 beef cube

step 1:

dice peppers and onion then blend almost to purée
brown meat and drain
add sausage, pork butt, Rotel, sauce, paste, beans, peppers, 12 oz water
4 tbl chili pwd
1 tbl SPG
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp red pep
beef and chicken cube
12 ox beer ( I used Modelo Especial ) what I was enjoying at the time.
float the Serrano and Jalapeno
bring to boil and cook for 45 minutes.

Step 2:

2 tbl chili pwd
1 tbl SPG
1/2 tsp red pep
1/2 cumin
tip off the Serrano and jalapeno, squeeze the juice in
cook for 30 min.

tiny bit of Massa to thicken it up a bit and start the sampling :cheers:

That looks amazing!

I love beans too. Don't know why so many feathers get ruffled when people put beans in with chili. Do what you love, love what you do...

Well, it pulled 2nd in a friendly comp out of 21 entry's .... I be happy with it! Had fun anyway

Congrats on the chili win.
I must admit I am a no beans in my chili, but man that sure looks good. And with cheese and Frito's. Nice, love the photos to. CF :D
