Wild Card Weekend Chili

Postby jmcrig » Sat Jan 07, 2017 7:52 pm

I think I've got everything I need for the weekend. Big ole pot of SuckleBuster's Chili. 4 pounds of 80/20, 4 pounds of homemade fresh country sausage, 1 1/4 cups of SuckleBuster's Chili Seasoning, a few good shakes of Boars Night Out White Lightning, #10 can of diced tomatoes, #10 can each of Kidney and Pinto beans, 2 1/2 pounds fresh roasted green chiles, and 4 green peppers. The tomatoes haven't even cooked all the way down yet, and it still tastes great. So, with this and 2 large bags of Frito's Scoopes, lots of Dr. Pepper, plenty of beer, and even some Scotch, Don't think I need to leave the house.

As it continues to cook down, I'll post more pictures

It's become a game day coin toss for me on the beans/no beans. some days it's no beans, others it's with beans.

Myself. It freezes well, and I won't have to make any for awhile. And there will be a couple of neighbors that will enjoy some.
