My first try at Gators Chili

Postby bondobill » Mon Jan 30, 2017 10:51 pm

Got some of SBs chili seasoning. Followed the directions. I added one Jalapeno and some beans....sorry to all you no beans lovers in Chili, I be a yankee and don't know no better :rose: .

Let the brew simmer for close to 3 hours

Made up a batch of Honey/Butter Corn Bread Muffins to go along

Good gawd, darn it twas good :D :D
So I'm guessing this is what Chili supposed to taste like . Ive only had the can variety before

One question though :?: .....does Chili get better when reheated :?:

Couple nights later I reheated some on the stove top and it was like ...Ohhhh Wow :D seemed like the spices and heat kicked up another notch :D I aint complaining, it was perfect.  :chef:

Good looking chili! To answer the reheating question; I am gonna give an absolute 10-4 on that one. Whenever I can, I usually make my chili the day before just so I can reheat it. It is ALWAYS better on day 2.

10-4 when done properly, it's the food that keeps on giving  :laughing7:
