Man, those look awesome. I plan to transplant mine outside as soon as these last cool fronts let up.

Gentlemen,

I found this thread on growing peppers and it is a thought that has been in the back of my mind for a long time. "I gotta grow me some peppers" I would say but never do anything about it till now...
The thing that has been holding up 'my garden' in general has been my 1974 International Tiller won't start. It has had it and another costs $1400. !
I may as well get a 3 point hitch tiller for the back of the tractor where I could till 5' wide and dig the garden {30' x 120'} in an hour rather than 3 months with my spading fork. I am very excited and am getting caught up with the home repairs so ... a tiller is next!

Thank you for the inspiration...

Welcome to the posters side of the forum Jack good ta hear from ya.
My tiller hasn't been out of the shed in a few years so it probably won't start either. We have a good spread and depth of knowledge on this forum and growing chiles just happens to be a strong point so churn the mud or if in Texas or much of middle America churn the dust.

Those look great. I've been growing chili peppers in my garden for a few years , but I don't start them from seed because you can get nice plants at most garden centers around here. Last year , I got so many habaneros it was just unbelievable. This year I grew jalapeños , cayennes , Serrano and some Italian hot peppers. I just picked the last of them yesterday , because we expected a frost last night. It was a pretty good year for peppers overall...

I have jalapenos, serrano, cayenne and one I forgot cranking out quite well in the garden. I've made two batches of hot sauce and have some Two Pepper Sriracha fermenting now. I'm ready for another batch too.

I miss my pepper plants. I had too many to keep up with, at least I believe so. I had over 400 at that point in time lol
