My original plan was to take few seeds from shop bought habaneros. Well I did so and sowed the seeds. Few days later nice little plants came up and started growing. Meanwhile I was reading everything I could about growing chilies indoors, so I ordered some seeds, few lights, fertilizers etc.
I got seeds of 30 different varieties now, 22 plants growing, germinating about a dozen at the moment and ready to plant another dozen or two as soon as I figure where to put them all...

Sowed few more varieties exactly one month ago.
First habanero came up.

I realized I don't have enough lights, so got a 400W metal halide light. Moved some of the chilies under it.
One month later most of them starts to look like little plants already.
De Cayenne is absolutely the tallest so far. All annuum varieties are growing like mad.
Habaneros aren't too tall yet, but leaves look fine to me?

This seems like a fantastic hobby. I'm absolutely keen to spend some time every day with my little chilies.
Do you grow chilies? (Chilefarmer for sure does
) I guess in Texas you get perfect weather to do it outside? With the shorter summer here, I'm planning to grow them inside mostly and move maybe half of them outside in late spring time.Any ideas, comments, tips?
