Bill, just about everything I do with chiles and peppers is fresh roasted, the stems removed, and into the food processor. This includes the skin and the seeds. It's all flavor and heat.

The only way to go with chiles, fresh roasted. That's where the flavor is. Some how I just knew that is what you did. Nice looking baloney, Tasty to I would bet on it. CF
