Netting for hams
Does anyone know where to get the netting for smoking hams ? Does it matter if the hams or hanging or can I just lay them on my rack ?

Why don't you give Jack's a call http://www.jackspakit.com/ they might be willing to sell you some or point you in the right direction. Good Luck

Papa Tom is right on with the two links. Had great service from both.

These gentlemen right here can tell you everything you need to know about homemade hams. They have probably forgotten more than I will ever learn.
As for myself, I just put them on the smoker rack. Hanging them serves a prettier presentation if you have a smoker with that kind of space. I have only ever hung 1 ham to smoke and as for taste, I did not notice a difference between hanging or not.
